    Is it worth anything...?

I just had a 93 Mustang 4 cylinder with auto tranny get dropped in my lap. I first thought it had a T5, so I agreed to take it, but after actually seeing it, I realize its an auto

Is this something that someone might be interested in? Does anyone use this drivetrain for any type of rod application?? I know nothing of these fords.

    I am in CT.

If the body is good, these are getting real popular to swap an LS1-LS6 or similar in to. Then add a turbo....... They are pretty light and cheap to build.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

No car or body...just the engine and tranny. Sorry, I should have been more detailed.

We were hanging onto the same setup for awhile, for a "someday" track car. Finally got tired of it taking up space and hauled them to the scrap yard. If you can find the right person who wants to build something like that, or someone who needs a replacement engine for their driver, you might get a few bucks, but not a whole lot IMO.

There's a good one in the corner of my shop that I've been trying to give away for two years with no takers. Even have a '79 'Tang turbo setup for it. The engine is a tested wrecking yard purchase, the turbo needs rebuilding.

Just a random thought but a lot of decent old Fords languish away for want of a tranny. The $1500+ to rebuild one makes them not worth fixing. Maybe C-list it or put it on the local penny saver before scrapping it.
