    I'm Thinking "Custom Painter Bailout"!

Business has slowed for most custom painters, so I will introduce legislation that will provide a "stimulus check" of $1000 to all custom car enthusiasts, that can be redeemed at the corner custom body shop. Write or call your congressman! :-)~

I'd come down to your corner but they want to put 10 gas tax per gallon---now the oil companies are raising gas prices 10-15 day here

Thanks, Jerry. I would appreciate the "aid", but since hot rods are hard to mail "flat rate" I never get them from more than 100 miles away. :-) Helmets, Bike parts and concept drawings are about the only paint-related things that fit into a box.

I have done choppers from as far away as the other side of the country, but total shipping cost.....thanks to fuel cost increases.....has jumped from about $150 to $450!!!

$1000 paint job in Arizona??? Thought they were only available in SoCal and South Florida.

Of course, the finish can leave a lot to be desired.

While you getting good with the metalwork you might as well start practicing the painting too. Ain't nothing cheap or reasonable anymore, and besides Tucson is one helluva long way from Jacksonville. Temperature wise it may not seem that way, but in distance it sure is.

why not? The porn industry is asking for 5 million.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
