    Big truck driver, I was hitch hiking on the 101 in college when a guy in a beat up old f150 pulls over and uses a set of pliars to open the door. As we're cruising down the highway he keeps going on about unemployment and dambed college students, while his tape player is playing "riders in the storm" over and over. I politely told him the next exit was mine and got the hell away from him. The song still reminds me of him, especially the part if you give this man a ride kiss sweet life goodbye....that was 27 years ago!

    I never did know what that line was...lol
    I remember when hot rods were all home made.
