Motor Sports 2008 Tacoma Dome Washington State

    Hi All,
Just put up some pics of the car show we had at the Tacoma Dome. Just got a new 16-35 mm 1:2.8 USM L glass zoom lens for my Canon to try out at the show.
It was a cool show in that it had a wide veriety of vintage cars, dragsters, cycles and boats/hydros.

    Just go to http://www.clubhotrod.com/photopost/...ry.php?cat=526

I was there with WAR (Walt Austin Racing) and prior to the show I had been taking pictures of the build of the '60s Mariah dragster which they just finished before the show. Dave Jeffers who use to pilot the Mariah showed up so I got him to jump into the seat for a pic, although he said getting out of the darn thing was a little harder than it use to be back in the "60s. Walt Austin had 5 cars there, the twin engine dragster Black Jack, Mariah dragster, Z-33 1963 Chevy Hayden Proffitt Drag car, a 1967 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi Convertible and also the Mercedes Shoppe dragster.

In another area of the Tacoma Dome the had the boats that included some fine vintage hydros like the Miss Bardahl, Slo-mo-shun 5, Miss Century 21 just to name a few.

    Hope you enjoy the pics.
