All right----probably mid 1972---Tom Ferraro driving---can't tell if car is on the way up or coming down---all four wheels were off the ground in some pics---As you can see, this was last outting for weed burner headers---they were replaced with Zoomies---Franklin quick change rear gave car ultra low drive line--when car came down, motor had crunched front frame rails under front mounts, body brackets were broken at rear body tree---

John went to finish line stands----I turned quick change gears over changing gear ratio probably from 430 to something like 300 to 1. Cut some barbed wire off the fence around the track ( Irwindale ) and tied the body down in the back---- Car made its best pass ever( Actually first full pass ) Nick Arias was in stands watching runs and was pounding on Keeling, yelling ---Its gonna make it, its gonna make it all the way to the lights----John was even more upset when he found out about the bailing wire ( it was rusty )
