    Buying Car from Canada

     



    Live in WA and looking at a' 50 Merc in BC. How much aggravation is it purchasing a car from Canada and registering it in US. Anything to watch out for? I know I will have to search the trunk first to check for stow aways. Thanks

    I haven't kept up in recent years on this, but it used to be that any car that was originally built in a US plant could be "reimported" with no hassle, as long as you had a valid title and bill of sale. With NAFTA it may be even easier. Hopefully someone with first hand, recent experience will chime in.
