After 33 yrs as a mechanic with the Dot here,I know a little about the application of salt and it's effects. Most of what I would be looking for would probably been long out of use before the use of salt became commonplace. As far as the weather goes, my daughters grew up here, and it's their impression that weather is milder there. Looking for vintage tin I would be doing just for fun, I do know of barns full of disassembled model A's around here. Unfortunately they do know what they are sitting on. I've always been a sucker for 30's and 40's pickups and if I find one I like it's gone. I may just move to it instead of dragging it back here. Hank

I spotted this one about a 1/2 mile from my house yesterday. I stopped but the beware of the dog sign kept me from getting too close but I will try again. I blew the horn but no one came out.

That's a little too new for me,used to be lots of them around here until a local body shop started making those in Old Navy stores. Hank
