If you're only hearing issues regarding Wally World fuel then it's bogus to some degree or other. They don't have their own refineries, so the gasoline they're selling comes from a refinery that also supplies others. Could be one refinery, could be multiple. Depending on the nature of the complaints it could be issues from storage, transportation, or who knows what until facts are known.Quote:

Could be the Wal-mart by us getting bad gas from a distributor. My wife’s friend had to have her fuel injectors replaced at a dealership where she bought her car and they told her not to use Wal-marts gas. I don’t buy gas at a no name station for the fact I don’t trust them but it can happen anywhere I guess. I like to use a station that sells a lot of gas. I've had cars run bad from the small stations. Maybe it's my way of thinking but when the car runs rough after filling up when it was ok before, I have to think they may have a little water in the storage tank.

Dropped again this morning to $2.07.
If you buy a car wash @ the BP station gas is $1.97.
I've used Wally world gas exclusively for the last few years and have never experienced any problems.
Right now it's at $1.80 and three cents less with their card. Most of the stations on my end of town are at $1.80 to $1.82.
I think Mo has the lowest for some reason. I lived in Joplin and enjoyed the lowest prices around for a number of years.
Here in the Twin Cities MN on the north side it was $1.81.
When is diesel going to follow??? Sure would be nice filling up twice a week. $2.89 is the best I can get.
I checked out wally gas yesterday ( Columbus Ga ) and was disappointed to see it was ( only ) down to $2.05
Down in the $1.60's in places in St Louis...joe
$2.29 today!:D
$1.94 here in Breckenridge Texas
Another drop. $1.97 today.
Gas dropped bellow 2 bucks here this week. 1.95 Chevron. Makes me wish we could keep a 500 gallon tank here!:3dSMILE:
1.59 in the Big "O"
Down to $1.73 at my local Tower Mart. Even Premium is under $2! If you told me this in August when I was thrilled to find gas under $4 I would have laughed at you. Hard to predict and plan for the future. Chrysler offering those $2.99 a gallon deals looks pretty smart now, and those that bought it not so much.

1.69 SE Wisconsin
This morning, Atlanta GA $1.74
$1.50 in western Nebraska...........
$1.63 today.
$1.69 today here. They are leading us into a false-sense of low-price-security. When it goes up - probably soon - it will be higher than ever! ! ! !
Peace
Dropped again today to $1.89:)
I don't know how to start a new thread and I have a questioin. Help.
Don on the first page you come to you will see where it says; 'Main Menu' {it's on the left side towards the top}. Click on where it says; 'Forums'. Then on the page that comes up click on the topic that you want to post about. Example; Hot Rods for Sale, Shop Talk, Transmission Talk, Duece Den, etc. {it's right below; Newest Members, Top Posters, Most Viewed}. Then when that page comes up click where it says 'New Thread'. It's in the middle towards the left above the already written threads..... Bill

Just Got back from a trip from Alabama to Pa, to pick up a new Hot Rod. Took the dually so only bought diesel but paid a low of $2.09 for diesel in Virginia somewhere. Gas here local is a low of $1.46 to a high of $1.59 or so.

Has come down here,as well. NZ fuel has dropped to about $1.39/litre for 91 octane,$1.44 for 95 octane, and Rockgas LPG has come down to $0.87/litre plus tax for cardholders,[$0.98/litre]:D
Diesel is $1.12/litre. Saw on TV last night,Texas crude was about $30/barrel.Who would have believed such a drop after the price it got to.
Gas has gone up here. It was $1.65/gal now its $1.75. Go figure, oil is down to $35.44 a barrel as of this morning.
Larry M.
Larry prices went up here too, even with the barrel dropping! I'm sure some financial spin doctor will tell us why?
Yeah, prices jumped from a low of $1.52 to $1.75 in one day several days ago. Not sure what's up with that. Since I see one ARCO has dropped back to $1.69. Maybe price to the usual pre-holiday jump?
Pat
It's because it snowed at the refinery after 3pm on the second Tuesday of the month.
I knew that had to be it! I thought they were lobbying for a federal bailout!:D
Sure hope the price of gas stays down for awhile, I'm heading to So. Calif. in Feb. '09 for a few months in the motorhome.:)
I haven't heard any excuse yet as to why the price increase but I'm sure they'll come up with some good ones as they always do. They are almost as good as watching a Bud commercial.
