    Using powers cuts down on the zero's with big numbers. They start teaching that stuff around 8th grade now

    I was taught in the 4th grade that you can throw out an equal number of zeros in each number so you would wind up dividing 2 into 850. Geeez are you smarter than a 4th grader?
