Ebay
I have bought a lot on ebay but you always have to be a wise shopper and figure cost plus shipping to see if it's a really good deal. The down side sometimes is if you buy a product and it is defective getting warranty can get ugly, waiting time, shipping costs, etc.I am in that mess right now with an electric fuel pump,3 weeks have gone by and no pump and emails being ignored, will be posting how this comes out and naming the guilty
As for selling, seller fees are getting out of hand so use them as a last resort,I have had real good luck buying and selling on craigslist,I like being able to post adds here and posting pictures but I have never made a sale here always lots of lookers,no offers.

It's been a long time since I've sold anything on Ebay so I can't speak to that, but I still buy a lot of stuff there. It's convenient and easy. I use Paypal for my purchases and I like it; it too is convenient and safer than having to enter my debit card numbers every time.
I usually skip over things that don't accept Paypal. I will agree, however, that the new format sucks...

Well my experiences with Ebay have only been good....actually, excellent!!
I have a lot of down time at work and am on ebay constantly.....My G/F calls me an addict!!!!
...But I have gotten some extremely good deals and have sold stuff that I would normally have thrown away!!.....Just this week I was going to take a buncho rusty parts, that were in that 41 sedan I bought, to the dumpster.......I snapped a few pics of some of it, put it on ebay and made over $360.....!!!!
I didnt find the fees exorbitant and heck, I was gonna throw or give away the crap anyway!!!!!
Now as far as selling big stuff like cars or bikes.....Im about to find out.....My Harley gets listed tomorrow........Hope it sells.....I gotta have that 2009 Harley Rocker they just came out with!!!!!..........
PS...oh yeah, I agree....the new format really does suck!!!....but just look at the top heading and click on "go back to old ebay motors"....or something like that......

All in all I think I've had decent luck with Egay. Only had 1 person try & scam me with a bogus bank check.
I don't care for the new format as others have stated.
I'll continue to use it but not like I once did.
