    need help fixing snowblower

I have an old Montgomery Ward 2 stage snowblower, like 8hp and my mom bought it used for $35 years ago, and other than putting 2 new friction disc's ( rubber clutches ) in it, has had no maintinance.. last year the augger belt flipped itself over and jammed against the gaurd.. I flipped it back over and it lasted until the last storm last year, and it snapped.. now, it still runs ok and everything. it did stop moving on it's own last year when the belt broke, but it seems to work ok now... the belt is in the middle of the machine, and the front of the machine is non removable w/o pulling the entire top of the case off and cutting 4 welds... how do I put a new belt on this?

Easy fix, put snowblower in garage, sell with house and move south!

Generally, on most Snowblowers you break them in two (split them) to get to the Belts-can you show us a Picture fo your unit?

Sell snow-blower for scrap. Have wife or kids shovel snow out of driveway while you watch from inside. There, problem solved!
