    Gee Don. I guess that makes you a older geezer than me . I can rember when I was in my 30's saying only 35 years to go before i can retire. Where the hell have they gone?

    I was just talking to the wife about those Space Sticks the other day!
    To my pallet today they would be gross as sin, but back then (as a kid) we scarfed them down like candy.

    I don't merember that commercial, but I used to keep a mess of that sort of thing in my "go bag" back in the 60's - 70's; mostly peanut butter, as I recall. Don't know the brand, though. They sort of had the consistency and taste of flavored clay.

    I don't remember Space Sticks or the Wheelie Bars either. But I think the Space Sticks morphed into Slim Jims.
