The pics that affected me most personnally tho was the 9-11 towers---I was a UAL pilot and watched the smoke from a hotel window at the first attack/bombing. For 9-11 I was eating breakfast and turned on the news channel--after a few minutes when the second airplane appearred I knew the flight path wasn't where it should be and knew it was going to hit the second tower---I have checked my log books and I flew the UAL planes many times and i Couldn't bear to chech the crew member names to see when and where I had possibly flown with them--I know I knew them, I just don't want any specific memories-----

Africa is, I believe, is a can of worms. Every time we try something it ends in disaster. A lot of people say that we should mind our own business and in part I tend to agree.
I can understand your feelings toward the aircraft and crews involved in 9/11. Whenever a DC9 or DC10 goes down I tend to cringe as I worked on many of them.
