Yes, it does tend to clear out the sinuses. However, the occasional June Bug that hits you in the head at 70 MPH feels like a bullet sometimes. :eek: :LOL: Raindrops also are like getting pelted with hail at those speeds........or any speed for that matter.

Description of a June bug please..We had a friend living over there some years ago who lost an eye to a June bug while he was riding his bike.Dont know what speed he was doing,or what speed the bug was doing either,but the collision did some damage..:eek:Quote:

Don, talking about seeing your car going down the road brings a couple of memories back to me, one was when I was a kid, and I had a 55 Chevy, my buddies car was broken down so I let him take me home, and use my car to go to his house. I told him when he got what he needed to come back to get me and I would take him to get his car. Well after what seemed like a long time to me I started walking towards his house, which was about 2 miles. As I got on a straight run of highway I saw in a distance my car but instead of him making a left turn which he would have meet up with me, I see my car turning right going away from me I was pi**ed.
When I would come home on leave from the Army in the 60’s going through city’s I would look to my left and watch my car in the windows of the buildings with the glass fronts. I guess most young guys have done that a time or two.
Your car looks good going down the highway. It’s nice when someone appreciates your car and gives the thumbs up; it’s really nice when they are driving a Mercedes, or some other expensive car. It was for me when I would drive my 55 Chevy to visit with my daughter when she was getting ready to have our first grandchild.

Don, being a motorcycle rider, I've accumulated a large collection of riding glasses, some of them cost over $100, but I keep going back to glasses my son turned me on to back in 1999. The absolute best (and cheapest) glasses that I ride with are actually safety glasses you can pick up for $6-7 at a welding supply store. They are the Uvex Bandits. They have interchangeable lens which are only about $3-4 each. I keep a pair of smoked lens glasses for daytime riding and a pair of both clear and amber lens glasses for night time riding. Give a pair of these a shot, I'll bet you like them.
BTW, it is really cool to see your own car going down the road, as long as it's not being stolen.........LOL.
