painted it candy apple red metallic. came out pretty good with the exception of a few minor runs. family loves the color but I do not. been seriously thinking of doing it all over again in jet black. what do you think?

I remember you sprayed it and you werent happy with, just wondered if you
fixed it, why dont you like it? Yea black would look good too, but with black
your body work better be damn near perfect, as it shows everything

my family likes it because it makes the car look like a luxury car. i do not like it for the same reason. i want it to look meaner. I know what you mean about the body work. and i am no where near perfect in that area. i just want it to look more muscle like if that is possible. any ideas?

Before you give up and do the work again, check into some different wheels to give it a different look. If you like the low look bag it. It will not look like a luxury car any longer. Depending on where the minor spots are they will be off set by a nice set of wheels.

Unless you can keep your eye on it pretty much all of the time, you make it too nice then someone will try to grab it. Tough call.

it was. but alot of body work needed done on a very small budget. So after learning out how much I hate working with bondo and primers i rattle canned it to give it some color. flat black. when i went to shoot it was talked into a different color. Now I wish I had stayed with jet black. might try to just offset it some by painting my chrome and headlight bezels black. Not much into chrome for this car. Would then match my wheels and interior better.

Montys are Chevy luxury cars. So it fits. How about some Rally stripes?
