    Brickyard 400 . . .

. . . Sucks! Competition caution every 25 miles for tires? Why not just cruise under yellow until there's just 25 miles left, then go for it? This ain't racing. . . .

Goodyear at it's best!!!!!!! What a joke. Guess that's what happens when you don't have any competition for tire sales.......

Goodyear's got NHRA tied up also. I guess the Pro classes are mandated to run them. Why can't they run Hoosiers?

hmmmmmm. Goodyear posted more contingency money???? Actually, I suppose it's because the Top Fuel classes they're using tires to slow the cars down....and at 1,000' they still run 300mph!!!!! What the heck would they do if it was run what ya brung?????

Well as usual I must have missed another good Nascar race.
For the 10 minutes that I watched they were under green. I must have missed all of the high speed under yellow racing.

Guess I have to start spending more time with my tv and less with my car.

Can only hope that the Drags will be on tonight, so I can get a much needed adrendulun dose.

You didn't miss much, tires were junk and 12 laps was a long green.....

More action in the pits than on the track,so exciting I had a good nap in the recliner.

trust me, I was there. Very slow race, its aveaged speed was 115 mph. Very poor call, let them race it out the best tire manager wins. Her are 2 pictures out of only 3, I took during the race. They were the fastest things there.

The F-15s were the highlight of the race, no doubt.

The same thing happened when they diamond-honed Charlotte, but you'd think with this one being done in 2005 it'd be a non-issue by now. Was there something else?

I've always said let te teams pick their own tires and let them choose how many sets they want to use. Also, let them race in the rain (and of course when there's rain they'll go to rain tires).

They knew the track was going to eat tires before they even had the first practice, they should have spent a week dragging semi tires around the track prepping the surface.

I lost interest in Nascar on Tv, when I went to see it at Pocono last year.. I got a Hot- Pass ( all access, garage/ pit ) to the August 2007 Pocono 500.. don't see much of the racing, but being right behind the wall when the cars come in to the pits is pretty interesting.... so now TV Nascar is kind of boring to me... I have pics from that trip somewhere
