While visiting a cafe in North Vancouver, I came across the small International P/U.

I think it is from the '40's but I could be wrong. It looked to be in good shape generally. The 'moons' look like something from the '50's but the truck I am not certain.

yeah thats a 51 or 52 ihc theres one in our field at the farm that was my grandfathers, i like how the dashes look in these

That body style started in 1949, but the first year had flush door hinges. Your pic seems to have the deeper door glass, which makes it a 53 or 54. Can't see the grille to be certain. By '55, the rear window was one piece, and different front end. Door windows deeper yet.
Cute truck, though I prefer short boxes. The wheels don't look like 16's, they're probably Mopar or Ford rims. Same bolt pattern.

I'm guessing the green one above is a 1954 R-130, 127" WB. 16" x 6.50 six ply tires ( 6 on 7.25" IH bolt pattern ) white rims with stock hub caps.

I had one of those 57 IH's in the driveway of my house for a number of years in the late 70's early 80's. I didn't have the title and couldn't afford to restore it either. Like a dummy I sold it to a junkyard for $50. The 57's have a nice looking body style. I would think this day and age they are very rare.

Here in New Zealand they were called the AL and AR series, the A to show they were built across the ditch in Ausbloodytralia, and were therefore right-hand drive. I spent many hours, years ago , in an AR162, the seven ton tipper version. The "2" in the 162 showed it had the Eaton 2 speed diff.
They're nice looking trucks.

Here's a link to one on a N.Z. Hot Rod site, (if you have a look around that site I'm 'johnboy' there too,) the blue light on the cab roof was a regulatory 'thing' in the late fifties early sixties...you had to show a blue light forward if you were towing a trailer at night.
Thankfully now rescinded, but Graham has retained it as it is from the trucks era.
What's with your truck being so far off the ground? Do you have big pot-holes in your neck of the woods?
