A friend has been using one of the spaces in my garage to repair his daily driver, a late model Focus. So while he was cursing about electrical issues and corroded connectors, I was sitting over by the workbench and decided to see how it would look to polish up an engine side cover for an older honda motorcycle I'm rebuilding. A little Mother's polish, some steel wool, and some elbow grease and I turned what had been a brushed finish into pure polished goodness.

Then I turned around and held up the part while I was looking in the general direction of the motorcycle and realized what a can of worms I had just opened... now I have a ton of other aluminum parts that will need to be polished to match.
