Such a deal!!! I never knew that. But, it seems to be only on foil and plastic wrap boxes; our waxed paper and parchment boxes don't have the tabs; all of the foil and plastic wrap do, regardless of the brand. Now, I can amaze my bride in the morning.

Ok are we a group of stupid or what. I've never seen those either. I think it is a conspiracy! We have Target brand foil and syran wrap. The foil has the tabs, but not the plastic wrap!

Aluminum foil makes good hats to keep the government from reading your mind. Saran Wrap does not.
That's why I put my foil hat on every day when in my government office. So my bosses can't get a read on what I am thinking about them.

I was not aware of the tabs either, guess I will have to check it out tonight.

It had to be a guy that thought that idea up, after having been frustrated at the roll continually falling out.

I guess I'm guilty as most, for not looking at instructions, but I have an excuse. In Canada, everything, and I mean everything, has to have all the same info on the box/jar/package, in french language, as well as in english. So right off the bat I can't understand 50% of the instructions....

I like that idea of using aluminum foil as a mask for painting. I spent a lot of time removing masking tape, and newspaper, when I painted areas in the engine compartment. Wish I knew about that then....
