I got a great job offer in Alcoa, and I was hoping to find someone in that area who could help me with info. Ya I lived in Memphis for over 20 years, but I'm up north now, wanting to go home.

Yep! we're headed that way, the inlaws live in Maryville, which is next to Alcoa, I can't tell you much. I do know that a bunch of people on this site live around there. I'm going to busy visiting them after we get seatled in. I won't know anyone there, other than inlaws

I'll have 3 things to do after we get moved in, 1-up date house to wifes spec's, 2- work on both T's, 3- my R/C hobbies.

I missed that one. Haven't watched Pinks in a while. Our high school is featured on a show called drag race high though.

I would say that will depend on where you are going to work. On the first of May, yes 2 weeks from today. I-40 the main highway thru Knoxville will be closed for 18 months to build new bridges. Alcoa is kinda west and south of Knoxville.

Maryville is south of Alcoa. The 2 cites touch and you really can't tell when you go from one to the other. You might look for housing in Greenback. It is down 411 south of Maryville.

You guys moving this way need to check out the Tail Of the Dragon

Lots of big rod runs here
