They countered back tonight, and tomorrow we will tell them we'll go with it, it's been a long 19 months living downstairs! ( It's a walkout) Add a door downstairs and it's mother in-law apartment.
They want to move in on the 28th of THIS month!

I got a call this morning with an up-date on the syruping, they bottled 8 gallons of syrup yesterday and collected 600 gallons of sap. I'll be going out there in an hour to start cooking again for another 12 hours. This batch will be the one our co-op shares. They couldn't use the tractor out in the woods yesterday so they had to haul all 600 gallons by hand. Sure glad I wasn't there.

Tom,
She was calm when you were here, she was like a kid with a big sugar high last night!!!
Our realtor called us at 6:02, they had till 6:00 to decide, they forgot it was 6:00, so they asked if they could have till 9:00, they got back to us and then faxed the stuff to our realtor today, then she called today and we have to decide & sign it today, But our realtor said that we have another showing today at 6:00 and they know we have a offer on the table, but want to see it anyway!
Then we'll sit down and look at their offer.
Now she is bouncing !
The house clean and we are just sitting here watching the time click by, to pack the 3 cats, & dog then go to the end of the street (2 houses down) and wait & watch.

Well we pulled the taps and here's a picture of the ten gallons of syrup I kept for myself. Not sure what the total count is yet but do know it pretty close to 37 gallons.
I helped my son Saturday, he found some 2'x2'x2" cement slabs at the landfill. We got more than 40 of them. They must weigh close to 75 lbs each. Needless to say that I had another "Aching Back" all day Sunday.
Kind of spooky here this morning, there's only 3 of us up on this site. What gives?

No maples to milk out here, but have always wanted to make my own olive oil. Problem is you need some major acreage to get enough olives for a small batch. Nice work. I bet it's sweeter when you make it yourself!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

The only reason I have found for eating "pannycakes or worfles" is so I get my maple syrup fix. We get New York or if I'm wandering a few more miles, then Vermont. Grade A Dark Amber - to me is the best. Sweet with a bit of a bite. Mmmmmm. Tomorrow morning for sure.
I used to bitch about the price, but after watching a sugar shack work, no more. It is dam' hard work!!Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
