I gotta tell ya, it doesn't seem long to me! Course I'm in Flo-ree-da.
Buying parts I don't need, with money I don't have, to impress people I don't like

Yeah, we're waiting for the Snowbirds to go back home so it gets a little less crowded down here!

It also probably is because you have done the same job for so many years. I had probably 30 different careers in my work-life because I get bored easily. I also found out I do not work well from home, it is better for me to have a place where people expect me to show up every morning, and being around the other employees gets me motivated. When I had a home office I would sit around in my underwear, talking to customers on the phone. That somehow just seemed goofy to me, not really like I had a job.
Cheer up Brian, Spring is right around the corner and you can get Tweedy out and rack up some more miles and trophies.

Long Winter?? I'd say. Yesterday the last day of Winter it was 65 here. Today the first day of Spring it's 42. Something just not right about that.
Brian, when you live within spitting distance of the North Pole, of course Winter is long for you Artic circle huggers.
When I retire I am going to move to Florida. Going to get me a full time job at the Scott's fertilizer company and get paid watching grass grow.
