How could you turn a face like that away! :D :D Good looking fella.
The one we rescued and adopted last Summer, "Lucky" has grown up pretty fast. He's now bigger than our other Male cat, and our food bill has tripled! I'm really glad we kept him though, he's the funniest one of the bunch. Every afternoon when I take a little nap on the couch all three of them see the quilt come out and come running to nap with me.
Don
I glad I'm not the only one that gets the fur pulled over my eyes!! This guy was pitiful we could feel his rib cage. We just don't know what people are thinking when they dump these cats. We had one kitten show up that fit in my wife’s hand. We had one cat that was shot with an arrow, I was in the garage and I heard something hitting the door, he was trying to get through the cat door in the service door of the garage. I cut the arrow a few inches from his body and we rushed him to the Vet around 10:00 p.m. I tell my wife don't even tell me what it cost. He is doing great now as are all of the other cats that were either dropped
off or found their way here. We have already named him Michael, you know what that means.
Your Cats look like they are well taken care of, my wife said you have one cat that we do not have, the one that is black and white but have all of the others. Our cat named Blackie looks like yours with long hair.
One day I will get a group picture.
Richard
Word gets out in the stray cat community about where the soft touch's live in the neighborhood!!!!! All we've ever had is pets nobody else wanted.... A bird that is way too noisy and a black cocker spaniel, seems nobody ever wants to buy the black ones..... Had an Irish Setter for 16 years that somebody had dumped on the side of the road, and lots of cats that just kind of come around to visit a few days, then move on. They're still the best pets!!!!Quote:

I suppose we could look at all creatures as they are just trying to survive like us. None of us really had anything to do with being brought into this world but it is for sure we all know that we will be taken out.
It nice to see other people helping the Stray Animals

The shop took in a couple of stray cats.
Lets just say we don't have a mouse problem anymore.
The mom on the left came by with the kitty on the right and hung around for a coupe days till we gave them food. She was skinny but got her weight back over the summer. As the kitty matured she finally left him but still comes by. We got 2 inside cats and now this guy outside.

Yep Bob, I think about that every once in a while. I remember you encouraging me to keep Lucky, saying "sometimes these things come into our lives for a reason." You were absolutely right, he has been a great addition to the house, and makes me laugh constantly with the stuff he does. Some nights I fill up the tub and soak while reading, and he always sits on the edge of the tub with me. One night he slipped in......shoulda seen both of us scrambling!!! :eek:Quote:

No kidding!!!  Guess that explains why we got 5 living in the house and 11 at the barn. All of whom get fed daily. No wonder I can't afford car parts. :LOL:Quote:

Twitch - I had to check where you live. Hey we got two that look like that. Mostly white with blends of grey and silver with bright blue eyes.Quote:

Thought they might have been ours. Can't be, you're a little out of my neighbor hood.
They won't even let the old man sleep:) :)
Hehe, they just want to make sure you are ok, that's all!  Bet you hate to get up and disturb them............I know I do when mine plop down on top of me like that.
Don
Don You got that right. Sometimes with them both on my stomach and lap I fall asleep and wake up saying what the hells on me. Love animals and always wanted to be a vet, but it didn't work out. Bart
Here are our two "house guests". They are soooo much easier than kids. (We had 6) "Stickers", the gray one was found in a parking lot with his tail crunched up, and "Pogo" was from a litter that my "rod builder/metal worker" friend had.
:D :D All of those are really great looking pets. They make you smile just to look at their pictures. :D
Lucky was a funny looking kitten when we found him. His hair stood straight out. But now his coat has finally tamed down a little, but he has this tail that looks like a bottle brush.
Don
Chevy 37 looks like you are being looked after pretty good.Quote:

Lucky looks really good with the blue eyes, and the thread is funny.
Twitch those cats look like show cats.
Hotrodpaint your second cat is like our new one he wants to be rubbed on his belly. We have two of the gray ones like yours also.
They sure look different when they are being treated right. They all look good.
Richard
Okay, since we're speaking of stray cats, this one needs mentioning. He was found behind a washing machine in a laundromat in Dubai (our daughter lives and works there) when he was an undernourished and frightened little kitten. He has now grown into a big eared, big footed, long tailed, long bodied, very tall (12" at his shoulders) and hard-as-nails tyrant who fears neither man nor beast.
Daughter has been told that he may well be a full-blooded some kind of Middle Eastern critter (I forgot the name of the breed) and that he is probably worth some money. Unfortunately, she didn't find that out until after they had him castrated. He looks like one of those cats carved on walls of ancient Egyptian temples.
When he has that look on his face (second picture) you can be sure that whoever, or whatever, he's looking at is in deep doo doo!
Now thats a big cat. Looks like it might be part sphinx(don't know how to spell it). Nice looking:)
Big Tracks, That is a nice looking Cat, and you can tell he means business, it's like ours once they get in they think it's their castle. All of our Cats are fixed. At 61 some time's I feel like I've been fixed.
Richard
Oh yea -one of those sphincter cats I have one myself:eek:
BigDude ,Thats the cats favorite position:) Mine spend about 10 hrs. like that.
He's a good looking cat, but he ain't that big. Our BJ (Bobby Junior) is 28.7 lbs. Even the vet says...." wow, he's a big boy" :LOL:Quote:

Message deleted... couldn't get photo attachment to work.:(
Scooter is overweight too, but nothing I have done over the years has slimmed her down. Tried low cal food, only feeding twice a day, etc.......still fat. She's about 14, so I figure I'll let her live out her days fat and well fed.
When I lived with my Girlfriend she had a little shitsu. Scooter used to terrorize the dog. She would lay across the hallway so the dog couldn't get past, and just lay there daring it to try to come by her. It was funny to watch, the dog would be hopping around trying to figure out how to get past without getting batted, and my GF would say to me " Stop putting that cat up to that!!" Oh yeah, she really listens to my commands!!
Don
We have a female named Babe but the grandkids call her {big Babe} she is a big gal. David the one that was so tiny he fit in my wife's hand, is now the biggest he must weigh mid 20 something. Hope to see Bobby at 28.7
Richard
Who do you think ends up with the dogs bone? :3dSMILE: They share, dog gets one end and the cats the other!
All our pets are rescued.
All were broke, but we had them all fixed. :D
Pat
That picture is a riot.
Don
That calico cat is watching one nervous dog.
He must of known Scooter.
Richard
When BJ was at the Vet last fall he was 28.7 lbs, but has since lost a little weight. We had tried diets and different dietary foods, but nothing seemed to work, until we got the new puppy. When puppy is in the kitchen (where the cat food bowls are) we had a gate up to prevent her wandering. It seems that BJ could not jump the gate, so BJ could not get food snacks, so weight loss followed. Wasn't intentional, just seemed to work out that way. :LOL:Quote:

Looks like Scooter could use a puppy!
For Richard - Here is BJ, looks good, but he is a heavy!
And as my last contribution to this non-automotive topic, I leave you with our little boy Jack (as in Sparrow) who can't stand stray dogs in the yard.
BJ, is a big guy but he looks to be healthy, he and our Babe should get together they would make a nice looking couple. Our grandson laughs like crazy when he watches the sniper cat. There are some funny clips on youtube. I will copy Bj and put him with Babe.
Thanks for the picture:)
Richard
Okay, today we are showing kitty cats. This is Sam, a nice looking but rather nasty personality cat. I get along with him okay, having established "pecking order". Wife on the other hand doesn't care much for him---she refuses to give him a good swat occasionally, to establish just who bosses who around here---consequently, she suffers from surprise "cat ambushes" and occasional nips to her lower legs.
BigTracks, that could be an Egyptian Mau,used to know some folks in 'Vegas that raised 'em. Neat cats. (In reality, ALL cats are neat).
I put a better picture of Babe and Rambo below.
Richard
Got this from H. Worrell the other day, thought it would be appropriate on a pet thread....
Here is a really good test.
Put your wife and your dog in the trunk of the car and shut it.
Wait 30 minutes.
Open the trunk and observe: who is happiest to see you?

He is our resident bad cat. Always into something. Getting Lucky was the best thing for him because the two of them wrestle and chase each other around all the time...........especially at 3 AM. It's like having kids because I never know what I will find upset when I come out of my bedroom in the morning. :)
I've been expecting Bob P to post his two cats pictures. Last time we saw them they were just kittens cleaning his model car collection. :)
