That calico cat is watching one nervous dog.
He must of known Scooter.

When BJ was at the Vet last fall he was 28.7 lbs, but has since lost a little weight. We had tried diets and different dietary foods, but nothing seemed to work, until we got the new puppy. When puppy is in the kitchen (where the cat food bowls are) we had a gate up to prevent her wandering. It seems that BJ could not jump the gate, so BJ could not get food snacks, so weight loss followed. Wasn't intentional, just seemed to work out that way. :LOL:Quote:

Scooter is overweight too, but nothing I have done over the years has slimmed her down. Tried low cal food, only feeding twice a day, etc.......still fat. She's about 14, so I figure I'll let her live out her days fat and well fed.
Looks like Scooter could use a puppy!
For Richard - Here is BJ, looks good, but he is a heavy!
And as my last contribution to this non-automotive topic, I leave you with our little boy Jack (as in Sparrow) who can't stand stray dogs in the yard.
BJ, is a big guy but he looks to be healthy, he and our Babe should get together they would make a nice looking couple. Our grandson laughs like crazy when he watches the sniper cat. There are some funny clips on youtube. I will copy Bj and put him with Babe.
Thanks for the picture:)

Okay, today we are showing kitty cats. This is Sam, a nice looking but rather nasty personality cat. I get along with him okay, having established "pecking order". Wife on the other hand doesn't care much for him---she refuses to give him a good swat occasionally, to establish just who bosses who around here---consequently, she suffers from surprise "cat ambushes" and occasional nips to her lower legs.
BigTracks, that could be an Egyptian Mau,used to know some folks in 'Vegas that raised 'em. Neat cats. (In reality, ALL cats are neat).
I put a better picture of Babe and Rambo below.

Got this from H. Worrell the other day, thought it would be appropriate on a pet thread....
Here is a really good test.
Put your wife and your dog in the trunk of the car and shut it.
Wait 30 minutes.
Open the trunk and observe: who is happiest to see you?

He is our resident bad cat. Always into something. Getting Lucky was the best thing for him because the two of them wrestle and chase each other around all the time...........especially at 3 AM. It's like having kids because I never know what I will find upset when I come out of my bedroom in the morning. :)
I've been expecting Bob P to post his two cats pictures. Last time we saw them they were just kittens cleaning his model car collection. :)

Geez, my dog was at the Vet last week, he only weighs 27 pounds, she said that's about right for a Cocker Spaniel... He's become a real "shop dog" and real likes my Snap-on dealer, he brings him treats!!!!Quote:

Incidentally, his name is "Cyrus", and no, I don't know why his name is Cyrus.
Speaking of creative names for cats, one of my brothers has two old tom-cats named "Lester" and "Otis".

Brian, after reading about your Sam, I had to tell you that we got one with the same attitude. It's name is Bailey and it belongs to my daughter. She's marked just like Sam but where Sam is red/orange, Bailey is grey. She attacks all unsuspecting people passing by her.
Give my your address and I will ship her to you. That way you can have a nearly matched pair of bushwackers.
Our new dog is just 7 lbs., a little Lhasa Apso (only 6 mos old). She has taken to cleaning the cats ears and if they don't oblige her, she pins them down and bites them. Even BJ.:D Funny thing is that three of them have all of their claws, but none ever strike out at her. Guess they know the difference between an annoyer and an attacker. :LOL:Quote:

I guess I’ll have to tell you people about Rambo, by that name it should tell a lot. My wife would try to feed him and he sent her to the emergency room for tetanus shot $114.00 by biting her foot. That should have been enough to send him packing but not my wife and that was five years ago. He would come and beat up the other cats I think just for the hell of it. I would break them up and he would go so far towards the woods and stop turn around and look at us. I tried to throw rocks toward him but it didn’t phase him. I said pretty soon one of these rocks are going to get you even though I can't see too well and I have bad arms but the law of averages worked and he let out a {damn you} in his language. Then the poor guy got shot probably by a hunter and then he came back not walking too good. We took him to the Vet, they had to knock him out and the x-ray showed over 30 pellets of buckshot in his backside. The Vet asked if we wanted to have him neutered while he was out we said yes. Now you couldn’t ask for a better cat and the one he tried to kill is now his Buddy and that is the name of the cat he was fighting with {Buddy}. With 17 Cats they all have stories. Rambo has some bad days like me where he has a hard time walking; they couldn’t take out the buck shot pellets.
