 That has to be a forged piston.......the head must of gave in to the pressure ,instead of the piston shattering.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

 My guess is that's somebody's fabricated "Trophy", look where the forward orientation notch is relative to the valve stem angle, just doesn't quite look right.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon 
 
 It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

 more importantly: look how square the valve stem is parted. no way. That was cut.. 
 Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

 and the caption would read, "Man, did I ever find a deal on some valves!!!!".
