    Don, do you remember "Smilin' Ed McConell too? he was the host before Andy Devine.

    No, I don't remember him. I guess I started watching sometime around 51 or 52.

    I used to get so PO'd at that bad frog!! But Midnight was cool when he/she would say "Nice." Ah, we were so easy to entertain back then.

    I remember the day we got our first TV, I was still in my high chair, but I remember sitting there eating cereal while my Mom did ironing and watched TV. She caught it from my Dad when he got home from work because she got so engrossed in watching the new fangled tv that she forgot to cook his dinner!

    The family of one girl I dated when I was about 16 didn't have a lot of money,so when you went into their living room they had two tv's......one sitting atop the other. The sound worked on one and the picture worked on the other.
