In High school we jacked our cars up and the kids at Dixon high dropped theirs. Our shop teacher used to say, at least if it's jacked up in the back it will roll foward and you'll be able to see where your going!

here are a couple of cars from our small collection, the impala belongs to my
son, he and his friends are more into the low rider look or group,I talked him out of putting hydraulics on it, even though they can do lots of things with them,I've seen lots of cars detroyed with them, the 47 what I call my barn find,55,000 original miles, still smelled like a new inside 5 years when I got it,all we did is added the visors and 15'' whitewalls tires, wet sanded it a little and buffed, but please don't label me or my people as knife carryers, gang members or family culture groups,is club hot rod a white famliy or friends thing only?? I don't think so.. you build what you like, the way you like it ,or can afford, some ady I would like build a studdie like stu cool or a olds like
dog tags, those are my 2 favorite cars so far,who those guys are doesn't
matter to me,they are just guys that know thier stuff, I don't mean or want
to start anything here but there was a couple of remarks that were labeling
and I for one don't like to get labeled, would you?????

Nice cars , very clean.... I grew up around them and drag cars. The bombs and lowriders are beautiful just not my thing ..... I like speed.
And as for being labeled it will happen some people just dont care to get it....

Both of those are very nice. I had a 48 Chevy in the past, and a couple of the Impalas. 63 was my favorite. Liked all the chrome. The 48 kept dropping the main shaft in the trans. But cool also. Traded it for a 55 Chevy 210 style.

ps: OH, Maybe gasser ?? (they also completely destroy alot of 60-65 impalas )) Yeah, he has a lot to learn about life, and the value of friendship over color or accent. Catch up to the speed of life gasser !! In gassers case, I think being young and dumb is the phrase.
First of all nothing against any Race . But what Gasser said is very true . I work with a guy that has Lowriders . I personally went to one of there big shows . And watched them at what they called break there cars for pride . They would jump ther cars up and down to see who's car would break first . I saw a mint 1979 Buick Regal totaled the roof caved in and the glass came out And a guy bent the body and frame real bad on a 1961 Impala SS . That P-ed me off real good . Not at all happy with what these Lowriders did to them cars .
