    A pair and a spare!!
Even in USMTS the top guys are now over $20,000 in each engine.
To think USMTS was supose to be the mid point between an IMCA mod and a late model.

I don't think their is any combination of things that will control the cost of racing anymore.... Talking with one of the local sprint car guys the other day, got his good engine and spare freshened up and just back, the bill was $28,000.00---all for a $1200.00 to win feature... Same prize money we raced for in '78!!!!! Soemthing ain't right!!!!!!

    Thats crazy!!!
I was thinking that $1,200 should be more like $5,200.
I know a young guy here locally that I try to help when I can.
He race's Wednesday night, Friday night,Saturday night.
The kid has hung and beat-out more sheet metal than you can imagine.
I told him to save all the old metal panels for his shop roof.
To think he did not find that funny.
