Dave---Happy to know that I'm not the only one with computer woes. A good Free resizing software is available as a download from Microsoft Powertoys.

Paint won't do resizing, it's the same old program that came out w/ windows 3.1.. not much has changed since then. if you adjust the size, it will cut the right side and bottom off the picture.. basicly if the screen has slider bars, when you resize, you will only have what you could see within the slider bars left. GIMP can do it, the new version runs on Vista.

Well, I got some pics resized using the email resizer, got to be an easier way though!!! Everything I've found for freebies so far won't work with Vista.

I hate having new tech force fed to me because I can no longer find the stuff that I’ve been using for years (and it’s just wore out now).

Do you think it a basic hatred of new technology that keeps most of us here working on old cars??????

I googled "resize photos" and came up with a program called "Picasa" that supposedly works with Vista. I use HP photo and imaging or Camedia master that came with my Olympus camera.

To an extent, I think that is very true Mike.... I do like the new tech stuff, well some of it anyway.... For me it's just a case of working with components that I'm comfortable with.... I do keep studying up on the EFI stuff, I like all the possibilities that it represents. Then there's the old and new combined, like a set of Hilborn's with EFI components to run it...

Only about half deaf! I looked at it, looks like it does a lot of stuff I know nothing about, it sez it will cut and crop, but doesn't specificaly say it does resize... I need something simple just to resize with! Is this it or more like all the trick stuff you guys do?

I just downloaded it and it resizes pretty easily.
