It ran 6.80's in the 1/8 on street tires, without the n2o.

That sounds good . But in IL we dont do that 1/8 mile thing . What would it do in the 1/4 mile ?

cool, so why cant i run 10's in the gasser on pump gas with a 496? 1/8th is kinda fun you get to gear the crap outta the car and sing it

About 10.8 with out the n2o in the 1/4 approx,based on 1/8 time.

dont be so quick to judge there, we had a few of the worlds fastest street cars out here this summer guys were popping 9's and 10's with cheater slicks which are street legal.

I should add the 6.80's where done with a 4.56 gear not the 4.10 gear.
I don't think the engine was any where near 680 hp.
I would guess it would be much closer to 600 hp.

I tried a 200 shot of nitrous one time on the street.
It was about like driving on ice.

I had a you tube vid saved ,it was guy with a 600 hp all whell drive car ,it looked like a snake all the way up to the top end,I would say it may have been pointed directly forward about 10 percent of the time,the rest was spent counter steering ,pointed in some variable degree of left or right.
