Not only did Joe have help from his son but his wife climbed up into the engine bay and helped him tighten down the intake bolts and what not so it was truly a family affair fixing the truck this time.
    And it’s alive….joe

https://flic.kr/p/2nZ3zw3 Yes he put an exhaust cut out on the exhaust on this particular truck while putting the cam and other parts in it

This is what happens when your little finger gets in a fight with a sawzall with a wood cutting blade in it and loses. Surprisingly enough it doesn’t hurt as bad as it looks. But I definitely was dancing around on my tippy toes when I washed it out. : Yes, it did look like hamburger meat under the flap of skin, who needs finger prints anyway. No I didn’t go to the hospital or urgent care to get stitches. I would’ve use electrical tape, but there was none around so it was gauze and surgical tape….joe

Super glue works great at sealing up the edges of a cut, not sure if the AMA approves of it or not but it works!

Super glue was used extensively by battlefield medics in Vietnam Nam to "suture" wounds and to staunch bleeding. It was credited with saving many lives!

If it would’ve been any other cut, I would’ve just wrapped black tape around it. Problem was there was no electrical tape. As far as looking for sympathy or pity, lol never. I just look at it as though I’m just adding to my collection of scars

Happy Thanksgiving to you also. Mine was going to be spent loading a trailer, it looks like that’s on hold at least for myself. Thank God, Renee’s daughter is going to help.

it`s about 1975 or so .. the gas crisis had hit and rationing was taking place .. you could only buy 5 $ worth of gas at a time even if you were the only car in line ,, i circled the parking lot several times at this store to fill my tank .. at 30 cents a gallon this store must have closed very soon after that ..

And three days later and after I was turned away from an urgent care facility that night because they were closing in 15 minutes.
The only good thing is, it doesn’t hurt unless I accidentally hit it on something…..joe

HooBoy! Looks like it should be hurting a bunch! I hope you can get some real medical attention for that.
