at least once a week i hear a car in the neighborhood across the woods cranking up and doing a few burnouts .. he will travel down the road a bit and do a full power blast then head back home .. i was riding my bike over there recently and saw some impressive burnout marks about a hundred yards long and as i got closer i saw a sign ,, i guess there is a " Karen" in every neighborhood ..this is his neighbor ,, HA ! ,,iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

i was doing my duties at the big box hardware store ( Lowes) and a fellow comes up to me and says " dint you used to have a red white and blue V8 pinto ? .. i said " i still have one . " .. he said he meant 30 years ago .. turns out he was the guy who bought my first pro street pinto back in 91 ..he hurt his back a year later and his wife divorced him and he had to sell it .. i had heard he murdered her and was in prison .. anyway he still knows and sees the fellow he sold it to and will ask about it the next time they meet .. i`m not sure i want it back or anything but if it still exists i would like a picture of it ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

i ride my bicycle about 20 or so miles a week .. most times just cruising along at 5 or 10 mph or so .. on one road i travel there is one of those signs that give your speed .. the first time i tried i hit 20 mph .. it caught me off guard a bit so i was`nt at full speed and my old bike was an 18 speed .. my new bike has 21 speeds .. i tried again a few days ago and hit 22 mph with a little left in the tank i think plus i had already ridden about 6 miles .. anyway where i`m going is about 55 years ago when i was able to collect 6 returnable soda bottles i would ride to the store on my bike and trade them for a cold double cola ..10 cents plus deposit bottle .. on my route i had to ride past Dog Zilla .. a huge black German shepard .. i see now that they can run 30 mph .. i dint know that then but he never caught me so i must have been doing 31 on my little one speed 20 incher .. my 13 year old legs must have been a blur compared to my now 67 year old hams .. i`m going to try again and see if i can hit at least 25 .. yet even at that speed Usain Bolt could still run past me .. that man could put them up a down ,, he can run 27 mph ..i have tried taking a picture at speed but it`s too dangerous peddling like a mad man trying to hold the handle bar with one hand ,, trying to look through a one inch viewing screen .. i may have someone take a shot if i can hit 25 ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

I'm not liking that!
Never throw out fasteners.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

this suzuki i now have is probably the most incredible vehicle i have ever owned . coming from someone who has a pinto and had a corolla that may not be saying much ,, i knew nothing about the cars when i jumped at the low price and bought it ,, i needed a ride right now ,, it cranked up cold and did not make a single noise so that sold me .. it had a check engine on ,, the seller told me that the ABS traction system light comes on from time to time ,, it does and goes out a few days later ,, i had oriellys check the check engine light and the codes were for bad crank sensor and bad cams sensors ,, i replaced all that and still the light will come on after driving a bit ,, i had a good friend who i could trust to fix things but he quit the mechanic business ,, i have not asked him for help yet .. i looked into a XL 7 website and every complaint by owners has been the electrical systems with these things .. i can see why .. this thing starts itself basically .. you just turn the key to start and let go and it continues to crank till it fires up ,, sometimes it does not fire up ,, i turn the key off then after a few more tries it fires up .. seatbelt and emergency brakes warning bells go off whenever they want to ,, some kind of noise continues in the rear of the car for about 30 seconds after i shut it off ..i would have no problem spending a few thousand bucks to fix most things if i could trust someone to do so ,, beats spending 10 grand or more for another corolla ,, as i say the suzuki drives incredible ,, runs fine when it runs ,, at the moment i have black tape all over the half dozen warning lights .. HA ,, it may stay that way ,,iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

i made an effort today to start things moving .. you dont get a written accident report anymore you only get a tiny trooper business card that you have to scan with a smart phone and print your copy .. i dont have a smart phone .. i tried thru work to get that done but something was amiss .. i did not receive the email of the report ,,try again tomorrow .. anywho on another note back to messing with the suzuki .. i bought a code reader and was disappointed to see after i got it that it does not do ABS reads or much else .. it will tell me over and over i need camshaft sensors .. i have replaced all 4 .. i need to figure out how to test them individually ( learn how to use my tester ) i understand that about half the new ones you get are bad .. ,, i mentioned the complaints about electrical issues with this vehicle ,, yesterday it locked me inside ,, when i shut everything off the doors did not unlock themselves .. iv`e read that can happed with new cars .. anyway after a few minutes of mild panic and turning and jerking every knob i could find they finally unlocked .. dont really know what i did ,, and i believe i have learned that the ABS light comes on when i back up .. when it goes back out i will not back up for a week or so and see what gives .. i will probably buy an ABS reader soon .. the vehicle runs perfect ,, not a bit of engine noise so i dont want to believe i have a timing chai issue ..i tried some other youtube remedies i will post of later ,, results not in yet ,,iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

I hear you on that!
Here in NZ we have an abundance of Japanese/Chinese/European cars/tools/ machinery all of which use metric threads on their fasteners.
Our older machines are from America, Australia, and England who primarily used Imperial threads. And now the Imperial threaded nuts/bolts etcetera are becoming harder to obtain.
So for some time now (like 30 years,) I've kept any Imperial threaded bolt/nut/fastener of any description in bottles, or if they're larger: ice cream containers.
My mates know this, and quite often now I get someone turning up "Have you got a 5/8" UNF machine screw about 4" long?"
Or: "A 1/4" whitworth about 1" long?"
And most times I do.johnboy

in two months of looking i have not found a purchasable corolla ,, every one that pops up on facecrap or gregslist dont last until the ink drys on the post .. even the dealer i bought mine from forever ago is still after me to sell mine back to him ,, i may use this recent letter as leverage against the insurance that i will be fighting with soon as to how much the need to pay me for my car ,, it was bent a bit but was a great running car even at over 200 grand miles .. i had no intention of ridding myself of it ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?
