Nice. Looks a little familiar. Those passed down family ones are priceless if you ask me, just because of the history and memories! Love the old hex barrells, had to find around here anymore, without forking over a lot of cash!Hang onto it and pass it down to your next generation!

The ejector is worn and sometimes it doesn't eject, so I asked my friend to take a look at it and he said to just leave it alone and at the same time informed me that in his opinion it was worth somewhere around $700.

A friend bought a 45-70 for home defense! I asked him if he intended to shoot through the front door, then through his truck and get them on the curb!

This one belonged to my Dad. It's a Winchester Model 1890 22 short with an octagon barrel.

Nice - appears to be a 24-26 inch barrel. And a really nice stock.

Now that's funny - an 18 inch shotgun is probably the best home defense.
