    Garage temp Chicago wind

1:41 am here just grabbed my last cool one from garage . Its 23 degrees outside and garage is holding at 51 degrees right now . Two vents slightly open off the home furnace . These Bilevels are great for that . Chicago weather is great for running up gas bills also LOL .

Keeps me from running the torpedo for long periods also they are noisy .

When I was a manufacturer's rep, Chicago was part of my territory, almost bought a home in Buffalo Grove in fact. Anyway, I could always get in to Chicago ok in the winter, but could never get BACK OUT. More than once I slept in O'Hare airport because of being snowed in. You guys get some serious snowfalls up there.

Nice thing it that because of cabin fever people in the northern climes tend to get a lot of hot rod building in during the cold months.........if you can stand going into a 51 degree garage! If I were there I wouldn't be looking for a cool one, I'd have the Mr. Coffee machine on full tilt.

Merry Christmas to you and everyone else Bobby.

New Jersey isn't much warmer, to cold to do anything now until spring, unless you have heat. I have a lucky friend that has heat in the floor, the only problem it's so nice it's easy to nap while laying under the car.

I used to LOVE my N.W. Indiana winters. (45 minutes from Chi-town). Open the furnace vents, turn up the Beachboys and start building (or re-building) whatever I had in the garage that year (late 80's thru 90's)... Almost miss that sometimes. Now I have to deal with that just cold enough to make you shiver, but not warm enough to be comfortable, E. Tenn weather (and the winter RAIN). Merry Christmas everyone!
