    The artwork on these planes was absolutely amazing...

    I didn't know that cartoon characters were used frequently too....I saw Tom (of Tom & Jerry), Woody Woodpecker, Mickey Mouse, and Bugs Bunny....
    Also lots of other assorted cartoon critters....
