Thread: lost registration in ny.

Hey guys,I am in the process of starting to do my 45 dodge pickup and would like to get the paperwork out of the way first.a couple guys said to just take a tracing of the serial number and go to the courthouse and do a lost title search.Is this the right way to do this?

I did this with my '67 Falcon.. you need to trace vin, get previouse owner to fill out 2 papers ( ask dmv what they are, tell them what ur doing ) and you'll get a 30 day non transferrable reggie. after that, a transferrable will come in the mail.
