People are just stupid that's all there is to it. I don't see why they can't keep their mouths shut and ignore things. I HATE politics and this is one example why. People make huge deals about things like the word "god", who is the new mayor, the new president, etc. I don't even care, I keep my oppinion to myself because no matter what you can't change nothing by complaining, you might as well sit back and ignore it and not let it get to you.
As for the little punk ass kid in school that didn't stand for the pledge (probably because his parents told him not to, not fully his fault) I would have beat the crap out of him and mostly his parents. I remember my pastor saying that a lot of things like this isn't the kids fault, it's the parents and that is true but then again there are some things you just know are right and not right. It's disrespectful to do that as we all know. Same goes for protestors (sp) at military funerals with the signs that say our people in the military are going to hell.
