    Alright guys/gals, a real curve ball of a question here. 2-stroke engines! and their funky ignitions! lol i love the 2-stroke.

    a past project of mine had a coil of the likes i have never seen. its not a magneto due to lack of points, condensor, and all that great stuff. not a traditional coil either.

    i think it is a sator charge coil but not 100% on that one.

    the coil sits about 1mm above the flywheel.

    i have attached pics...

    so what in the name of all things sacred is this thing?
