    35.00 dragster is complete

here is the finished dragster halloween prop, i will probably change the skeleton to something bigger. 35 bucks total invested, i am very happy with it now that it is done. and now i can concentrate on the other 18 boxes of props and 28 life size tombstones. the hilborn injector is made from 2" pvc and a 2 liter coke bottle tray from the delivery guy. a couple pics are as it will sit in wheelie position racing a riding mower also pulling a wheelie. the body is cardboard hot glued on with a coat of latex house paint. anyway call me crazy, but too late my wife and neighbors beat you to it. we started this big thing 5 years ago, the first year we had 45 kids, and now that the word is out we have about 500 kids show up.

If I lived anywhere near you, I'd do Trick or Treat for the first time since my kids had kids of their own - and in costume. Nice

Now that's racing on a BUDGET!

Looks like your gardener must have been spraying some VHT on the grass to get that much traction. Very cool.

thanks for the comments everyone, and thanks for the cotton exhaust and tire smoke ideas. i had not even thought of that and will use them for sure. i do have a fog machine mounted in the oil pan and it bellows fog from the injectors and from the rear pan seal that is open, and from there it goes in the drivers seat area.
