LOL "the front grill of the 58 Edsel looks like a womens....******". Funny I never looked at it like that before?? I'll never be able to look at an 58 Edsel the same way again and not think of that. I'll never be able to look at an 58 Edsel the same way again and not think of that.

Probably made up bythe NY Times, Car & Driver/Road & Track and Motor Trend.

To include an XKE, an Aston Martin or even an '09 Model T is ludicrous. And this must be the first 'worst of' car list that I never owned one of the nominees. Probably too late to find a driveable Pinto or Chevette.Dave

You can find the writer's true feelings in a line that he used describing the 1909 T ...

It's simple, he (or she) hates cars in general and looks at all cars as a blight upon humanity.conferred to Americans the notion of automobility as something akin to natural law, a right endowed by our Creator. A century later, the consequences of putting every living soul on gas-powered wheels are piling up, from the air over our cities to the sand under our soldiers' boots.

The people who sit around and think up this stuff have way to much time on their hands. I suspect they probably aren't old enought to remember any that were made before 1980. Granted they were probably correct on about a dozen of the 50 cars, but they were way off on the other 38.

Opinions are only valid to the person giving the opinion. Bob

In looking through this list of miserable garbage I find that I have owned some of these cars, but I was too stupid to realize that they were no good.

I learn that the 1980 Chrysler Imperial had an engine "cursed by God".

Had I known that I wouldn't have been running one of those lousy blobs of excrement in my Dodge for the last six or seven years.*

 I'm so ashamed.

P.S. I'm wondering just what qualifies that jackass (or those jackasses) to make such judgements. For some time "Time" magazine has fit a description that was often applied to the old "Saturday Evening Post":

"Useless! No longer worth reading and too slick to....... uh ........ use in the outhouse"
