    Talk about a generation gap!!!

Got the tube on Speed, NASCAR boys racing dirt at Eldora... Red Farmer, age 74 racing Denny Hamlin, age 24 in the 3rd heat race!!! Man, doubt I'll live that long, let alone be able to race a late model at age 74!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris Karamesines is still running in Top Fuel and he's in his mid '70's. I don't know how he does it.

The world's oldest licensed racing driver, 95-year-old Tom Delaney, died recently in England. Born into a racing family, Delaney began racing in 1930 and his competitive spirit never slowed down, even when he was tossed out of his Lea-Francis at a vintage event at Silverstone a couple of years ago. He was back racing it the following month. His last race was in April, after which his health began to decline.

Hey, I live in Florida, where the average age is like 99, and you should see some of these guys on the freeway.
