Jack...I'm sure all will turn out well.
Aren't those MRI's fun? I wonder how they can fit some people into those little tubes? I'm not claustrophobic, but that really pushes the limits. I had an MRI for my shoulder and it lasted 40 minutes. I made a mistake and opened my eyes. I couldn't wait to get out!
Good luck dude!

Oh God, I am the same way in the MRI machine. I keep saying to myself "look, you are an intelligent person, and this thing is not going to trap you in here," but I still feel like I am smothering. I almost scooted backwards out of it one time because it was really starting to close in on me. I try to amuse myself by thinking of other things, like working on my T, but if I open my eyes it is all over.

Last MRI I had to do lasted nearly 2 hours. Some of the exposures took over 30 minutes. All I know is that they didn't find anything wrong. So in stead of leaving me go, they referred me to a bone specialist for a 2 hour bone scan plus an injection of ugly dye. Glad they didn't find anything either. Surely didn't want to take the exploratory crap to another level.
An "Open MRI" is far better, no more tightness, no more claustro feelings, no more nightmares.

Yeah it was fun.
I just got a call back from my doctors, and for the most part, nothing serious. I should be good for another few years. The doctor did say that my brain was shrinking at a faster pace than normal for my age. I kinda figured that, because when I was 16, I knew everything, now at 62, I am finding there is a lot I don't know..
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts, proof that prayer works.

My last MRI was not a good experience - they fully covered me with a sheet that had to be removed!!! As long as its not too hot I think I do OK.
Also, if they would just talk you through it, the experience would be a lot better. There is no limit to what a man can do . . . if he doesn't mind who gets the credit. (Ronald Reagan)

Yeah, Jack, I am glad to hear the good news. I got my CT this morning and the Doc called with the results. Lungs are okay. No growths. But the radiologist noticed something on my kidney. So now I got to go back Monday for a CT scan of abdomin and pelvic area. I need to get over there to get this contrast to drink Sun night. I am betting it's going to be nothing also. Just making money off the insurance.
