    Dave,

Not only did they add the cert for Antiques, but the fee for "investigation" when you apply for a VIN went from $30.00 to $130.00. They're just sticking it to us.

Then DMV Wonk 1.0 tells me I have to apply for the VIN, then apply for the title. I do than, and my app is rejected because DMV Wonk 1.1 says I have to apply for both the VIN and title at the same time. We'll see what Wonk 1.2 says in a few days.

    jygirl,

    Welcome to our world . . .

I have learned from here in cali to have money and more paper work than needed, soo when baffoon #___ sayes you need this or do this ,I have more than enuff papers to make it happen, because baffoon #___ will say the complete opposite of baffoon #__.
I just walk up and say this is what I have and let them tell me what to do ,even if I have been told I do not need it
It also seems like every office has different rule books
So I just take the paper work from the last dmv and move on to the next one and I can usually get er done in one day The next dmv will try to prove there knowledge of the rules by getting one more thing done or....just taking all of the previouse paper work and handing you one paper and your done..

Joe (Toomany2count) sent me this by E-mail this morning. I think it fits the general thought train here.
