Oh my God! I can't believe it! I was parked right next to this car at the Huntington Beach show several weeks ago. As I understand it, this was the first hotrod for this guy and he had just purchased it not long ago. Very nice car, what a shame. They had a way of dealin' with horse thieves in the old west, same should apply to horsepower today.

The one good thing is that this is posted on lots of forums. Somebody will have to see something. I know California is a big place, but the hot rod community is pretty tight and look out for one another. The car also has some pretty distinctive features that will be hard to mask.

I hope he had "agreed value" insurance, cause it's likely never to be seen again in one piece. Love the look of the engine, probably the first thing taken out.Bob
