Hee-hee! I certainly can relate to all of those. We broke the tranny linkage on the Torino a while back, stuck in reverse, and the rod hanging down from the tranny end. So, I finally decided to do something about it; got the thing up on the stands, as high as the floor jack would go, and lay down on the creeper to scoot under there - oops. Put the extander block on the jack and raised it up another six inches, as high as the jackstands will go. Now, it's so high up there, I'm almost afraid to get under it, without some cribbing blocks. Guess I'll have to get some lumber and build some new ones. If it ain't one thing, it's another.
