    V Twin oil

     



    Can anyone tell me what the difference is in regular synthetic 20w50 and synthetic 20w50 for v twins. Other than $5 per quart and $10 per quart I can't figure what it would be. $50 oil changes for a bike is killing me.

    Look at the ratings on the top of the can. If they're the same, then I'd quit buying the Harley oil.....

    Don't really know Ron......I do have a buddy who has been running Valvoline 20-50 (not synthetic) in his 15 year old FXR since it ws almost new and it has over 80K on it now without having been or needing rebuilt.

    I ran 50 weight valvoline racing oil in mine.
