Ken - Just got my August issue of SR and the layout is great. Really like the 34 PU. Unfortunately I don't fit well inside of them without a large can of grease. Not only two great vehicles but a really cool shop as well.

BTW, I also visited your company's website and liked what I saw. Referred your website to a relative who just got a custom chopper in trade for an unfinished 39 chevy. He was looking for a new trailer for it.

    Ken,
I do like your truck and if SR ever gets around to sending me the August issue (I'm at the end of the alphabet) then I'll have a better look. I'm like Mopar 34 - too big @6'4"/205# for the little p/u trucks of yester-year (sez I building a '31 A roadster )

Dang Dave, man you're a little on the skinny side. You need to chow down to catch me. I'm probably short enough (6'1") for the truck, but unless he has removable steering wheel, my little belly buddy won't get past it.

I wonder what it would be like to be 205 again? Probably like being 18 again.

    Bob -
Oh-oh looks like I touched a nerve - and I'm complaining that 36 waist pants don't fit right anymore and need to lose 15-20 pounds (according to my Dr. and my wife). At 18 I was ~165 but that was a L-O-O-N-N-G time ago

Thank you all, I'm getting ready to do another one if you look at my other post I think you would fit in it. I'm just not sure it will look correct. that's why i asked for help, and see what it would look like before I ruin a nice '32 truck!

I will never forget the time my car was on a magazine cover. Unfortunately it was on the cover of the wifes Home & Gardens while I was putting dressing on my tires. Ruined the cover and made the wife mad.

Congrats to all who made the magazines.

Mine finally came, but I could not remember what to look for. I will find it tonight while sucking on a cold can, in my A/C garage and working on the DeSoto. Probably be more reading and sucking on the cold can than working on the DeSoto .

Bobby - I do the same thing, while everyone else is still sleeping I sit out in the garage and stare at all the work I have to do

Jack - I don't drink, but after this weekend I'm thinking about taking it up. It's pages 174, 175, 176,and 178 in case things get a Little blurry.

I checked it out. It happens that was one of the few articles I read when I first scanned the magazine, I just didn't put it together with this thread. I usually do a quick scan, then a detailed look. Those are great projects, but I favor the pick up. I think that is going to be very cool ride. I do like the little touch where you raised the rear wheel opening on the coupe. Nice touch, most people will love the look, but never notice it was an added process.

Do you have pictures of current status you can share with us. We want to know " the rest of the story ', and we love pictures.
