My own "take" on the car is that it would be a major effort to make it like new. When they opened the trunk, I think there was a piece of the inside structure of the trunk lid laying on top of the contents. It might have been some of the sound deadener, but I don't think so. Some of the cans of beer had floated into the passenger compartment, so the back seat must have come apart. Everything in the trunk was heavily rusted. In a closeup of one headlight, the bezel looked like it was stamped aluminum, and had corroded so bad there were holes. They said they had a hard time getting the hood open because it was "rusted shut". They tried to open the doors, but couldn't, so they pulled a side window out of the track to reach inside. They also said the bottom had fallen out of the glove box, and the contents were on the floor. I'm starting to think the plastic cover ripped because the water got high enough that the bubble of air pulled up on the bag, and tore it. All guesses and assumptions of course.

Looks like they did a poor job of protecting the car .What a mess and I'm not even a Mopar man. Glad I decided not to make the trip.
