That is the main road into the subdivision, everything was back to normal 'bout 2 days after that exept it was like a slalom having to dodge all the trash on the side of the road. I felt sorry for this guy though, he has a 1st gen mustang in the garage alsoOriginally posted by panelbeater

is there a difference between the cutlass and the 442, I always thought it was a cutlass with 442 option

i worked on them 35 yrs. ago and mostly auto. trans. so i didnt get into the fenders and doors much but im sure somebody will set me stright. i always thought the rug. cutlass was dif than the 442. the 442 always looked bigger to me. there was the reg. cutlass, plane jane 6 cylender, then the cutlass serprime, loaded with everything, with a 350 motor and then the 442. it was loaded up with power everything, 442 stood for 400 motor, 4 barrel carb and duel exhaust. they were nice, and fast out of the showroom . the one i had was the cutlass with the 350 motor, that had the w30 or 31 package on it. it had air induction hoses coming from under the bumper to the carb., a little cam ,4 barrel carb., dule exhaust, posi-trac dif, 4 speed trans, bench seat, no carpet, small hubcaps, before i carried mine home from the shop i put carpet and a new set of wheels on it. i think it sold for 9000Originally posted by '60buickrod
