Started on my Grandma's Farm in the central valley, doing everything from weeding, and cutting canes to harvesting raisons at the age of 12. As an adult, I started with kids, working with youth at risk, then moved on to be a Marine Biologist, taught at Newfound Harbor Marine Institute, Worked seasonal jobs including, Construction, Agriculture and as a First Mate in the Virgin Islands, Wilderness Adventure and Back country trips, Foreign Fishery observer in the Berring Sea on a Korean vessel, Abalone Farmer, Taught technology(and managed a computer lab) at a Learning Enrichment Center, and finally ended up as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(working with kids at risk in a different sort of way).
